Utter dogturd just about sums it up. Hand-wringing, fretting, American guilt-expunging bollocks!

Yeah. I thought it was fucking atrocious. It's mad to see how desperate and transparent War On Terror propaganda is getting...enlist big A-list stars, utilise a script that appears to delve into delicate issues, but in reality engage in a sinister exercise in which there's fucking tonnes of signfiers and subtle codes to invoke feelings of freedom and American feel-good-factor. The film's absolutely loaded with doublespeak type public-confidence boosting, fluffy politicians and journalists, USA Inc branding, crass heroics, simplistic "hey, the first two members of the military we show are black and hispanic, we really get it" realism, insidious false explanations from the army officer as to why the Afghan war has continued to go on, "hardball" politics that basically involves ignoring the real issues, All-American nice guys galore, and all wrapped in this fake "open debate" rhetorical shit. It makes Team America look like Platoon.
