Ladyfest Dublin Scavenger Hunt!

Bank Holiday Monday, 2nd August 2004.
Meet upstairs in the Oval Pub (78 Middle Abbey St) from 2:30pm.
Hunt begins at 3pm!

Arr! This is a photographic scavenger hunt! Your mission is to take
photographs of your team with particular items, at particular locations or
engaged in particular (legal!) acts around Dublin's city centre. Each task
on the list carries a number of points, depending on how difficult it is.
The team back within two hours with the most points wins the loot!

Like a fun run with photography, like a treasure hunt without the trinkets;
wit, absurdity and bad art will abound in the daftest Ladyfest fundraiser
yet!

You will need:
  • A team of between 3 and 5 people (Note! Teams of silly, devil-may-care people will have an advantage)
  • 20 euro per team
  • An instant camera (Preferably a polaroid or digital camera, but camera phone will also do). Ladyfest has a number of cameras for loan, if you'd like to book one, register your team ahead of time with [email protected])
  • Comfy footwear and a suitable ensemble. (The hunt will not be cancelled except in case of persistent, heavy rain. So come prepared.)
  • A whole rake of energy and a sense of humour
This Scavenger Hunt is fundraising for Ladyfest Dublin. Ladyfest is a
non-profit, DIY festival organised by women, but open to everyone!

Ladyfest Dublin will take place the weekend of the 12th - 14th of
November 2004, and will feature bands, DJs, film, art, workshops,
and more!

More information about Ladyfest is available at www.ladyfest.org. More
information about Ladyfest Dublin will shortly be available at www.ladyfestdublin.org, or by emailing [email protected].

me, sorta
what sort of things are we going to have to do? if there's any running involved i fear at least one member of my 'team' will sue.

i personally can think of one team that is unlikely even to walk, instead opting to spend the afternoon in the pub taking polaroids of each other's asses.

bbc weather forecasts temperatures of 17-21 degrees with a light easterly wind of 8pmh. la-di-dah.

so are we ever going to be told what sort of things are on the menu for this or is it a surprise? are they going to be funny things or things that we'll just look at each other and go "eh..." for? it looks like i'm going to be doing this with people that I only know on thumped and not in real life. is that lame? hee hee.
