I'm sure this has been put up here before, but Myers has also tried his hand at writing a novel. Called Banks Of Green Willow, here are some quotes:

As for The Irish Times being the 'paper of record' says more about the state of newspapers in ireland than anything else. Myers is only slightly more of a prick than O'toole and Browne and all the other 'opinion' writers.
I do like Lara Marlowe (although her recent comments praising The Clash of Civilisations were depressing to say the least).
