i don't think you should have been banned or the thread locked because it only stiffles discussion about the whole thing in context and there ends up being several threads with people from both sides being outraged about eachothers comments outside of the focus of the original thread.

you do post some very dodgy stuff, some much worse than this particular case. so your post didn't surprise me. what was shit was people's short simplistic posts, citing censorship as the bottom line and burying their heads in the ground on the issue of sexism. nothing new there though.

i'm very cynical today.

Glad you already have a female in your life? Yes, sir, cling to her for protection, hang onto her for dear life. As for 'slandering' you. First of all, anyone who has that shit on his myspace page is a sick fucker. It's not funny to joke about wanting to perv on teenage girls when you're 42. If your sense of humour requires you to degrade women, and to even joke about molesting teenage girls -- even if you don't actually do it, then it's not a sense of humour at all, it's just disgusting. The only other thing I said was 'fuck you', which I also stand by, and I've seen you say a hell of a lot fucking worse to people. And yet someone simply tells you off for doing something kinda nasty, and all of a sudden, you think you're some sort of Martyr of Gutterpunks, when you go around taunting people like a big perverted baby. Your responses to me on that thread, and now this one, were way out of fucking line, and your flippant, insulting attitude toward me, Siobhan and Pantone after being unbanned just confirms that your general attitude towards anyone who is disgusted by your sexism is one you perceive to be heroic. And to be honest, anyone who thinks that free speech is tantamount to a licence to be a misogynist just makes me sort of ill.
