Seems to be pretty hard for bands to get gigs here.
I won't really have time to do many what with band/work but hopefully I can be of some help and that

I do think it's pretty hard for DIY bands to book here. I get messages all the time because people are stuck.

Fair enough, i was just going on what people had told me, i've not lived in cork in about three years.

Really!? I must say, in all my years of gig-ery I've never had any trouble getting gigs in Cork.

Leo puts on any gigs that you'd play or be involved with.

I'm not trying to argue like..? I got lots of messages from bands and 'promoters' even when I said I wasn't doing gigs. I set up that myspace account yesterday and I've had around 20 messages about gigs already. Granted, not a lot of them I'd be willing/able to do but I guess it means there are people who having trouble getting gigs here.
