One of the most popular bands ever in Brazil. ThIs is from their first LP released in early 1985. Their later material was less 1980's UK new wave rock and more REM influenced. The band disbanded in 1996 after singer Renato Russo died after suffering with AIDS.

A guy at my secondary school became a small sensation when he did a bizarre body-popping dance to this at a school disco. He "developed" the act for a school assembly, into some sort of mime/creative dance thing involving face paint and a monk's robe and handing out roses to the audience

He had no shame


I still cringe at the memory, though he probably enjoyed every minute
