Looking into it I reckon the version I know is by Nino de Angelo whose version was released in the UK

I probably heard it once in 1984 and it got lodged in my brain

Whoa there's a few tunes on here recently that I love. Always loved the bass playing on that Edie Brickell song (that downward slide! <3), just realising now how funky the band are, maybe one of these days I'll use spleeter to pull out the vocal and make a mashup with Naughty by Nature or someone

Man if I was younger I'd have some amount of fun making mashups and playing them at parties
