hwo long should an iRiver take to load up?
it was taking 10 seconds..then 20...now it's a minute

someone else was tellin me theirs takes 2 minutes to load

i had a H320 and it took around 20 seconds with 19GB used.

download/install the latest firmware from the iriver website and also defrag it...it improved my start up time immensly...the defrag may take a while though.

it depends how many songs you have in the root of the directory.
so try not to put anything in / and keep stuff in folders.
also getting the latest firmware is a good idea.

its piss easy to update, copy the firmware just like an mp3 to the root folder and then go into options and select firmware update.
