I can't remember the details but there was a statement from one of the MInisters last year about there being a strategy in place to eliminate homelessness by 2010. A strategy without any money to back it.

or we dont have enough people living in the social housing already provided, shove a few more in and not only will our homeless numbers go down, but with so many in there, there wont be as much gas needed to keep them warm and there'll be two families watching tv instead of one, we'll end up way ahead of emission targets!
