'NME' to start publishing weekly Irish edition
British music magazine NME (New Musical Express) is to begin publishing an Irish edition of its weekly publication later this month.
NME Ireland will go on sale on October 18th - featuring dedicated pages on the Irish music scene.
NME editor Conor McNicholas said: "NME has always been a successful magazine in Ireland, but with such a vibrant live music scene and such passionate music lovers it would be madness not to provide the country with their own magazine."
"The Irish edition will be tailored to their favourite home-grown artists as well as featuring the very best from the UK and beyond," he added.
The launch will coincide with the opening of Club NME - a new live music venue in Dublin.
