Clarke's missing from the Villa squad today with a calf injury so it doesn't look like he'll be lining out for Ireland next week. You'd hope that we at least get to see Coleman & Wilson make their debuts against Norway and more of the likes of Foley, Fahey, Westwood and Long.

I predict a good old fashioned 1-1 draw. Hopefully Fahey has a stormer in the centre and Cunningham makes a good case for taking over the Kilbane spot. A decent ball-playing midfielder and a proper left fullback give the side a more balanced look, anyway. Coleman and Wilson need to get at least half an hour to make the whole thing worthwhile. Hopefully Foley and Tracey get a look in too.
