Insane color (1 Viewer)

How in the name of bejaysus is this man getting these colors. An example:

Much as i'm against believing such things, could it be as simple as "he's shooting a 5d which comes out with these kind of colors naturally" or is it some sort of levels trickery (possibly in lab color). I was also thinking maybe he's upped the contrast and dropped back the saturation, but i'm not too sure about that. It reminds me of the color in Gone Baby Gone.

Ideas?

For some reason, flickr is back to being blocked in work, which is a load of wank really. I'll have a goo later. The way you've described it is easy enough to do in Photoshop. Or Alien Skin exposure, which is well wroth a grab if you're interested in differet film types.

I'd say it is something like you say - maybe Saturation, Vibrancy and Contrast levels, have messed with Aperture2 giving someting similar, must get some tutorials on how to use properly!

Stick with Photoshop.

There's more in it and you've a lot more control. Just learn it well. Better to be master at one than jack of all trades.
