Innovitive TV sitcom ideas... quick!!! (1 Viewer)

Groom with a View - 5 or 6 twentysomethings (cough!) form sprawlingly patchy alt-country troupe (various neurosis, on again, off again relations ships etc), low rent spinal tap antics ensue, dodgy costumes, awful sunglasses, etc, etc... room for Flight of Conchords comedy songs

'just ask katy!' katy frenchs corpse/disembodied spirit stars in this 'murder she wrote for the 00s' madcap comedy. Watch katy as she eats john waters brain, posseses kevin myers (until cast out by gavin lambe murphy), and helps joe duffy find his womb.

running joke; 'wheres my coke gone?' 'uhhhh katy!'

"The Mitchum Man" - Swarthy closet homosexual actor realises he has a full grown adult brother. Tracks down to home and steals away with quiet quirky sib "Mitch". Key scene in tower records when staff member drops stack of CDs and "Mitch" is able to instantly tell combined pitchfork review ratings of the entire stack of CDs... hilarious road trip follows with Actor and Mitch ripping of hustling indie nerds across the country, before Mitch freaks out in a hotel room after some re-syncs his i-pod and the Actor realises such a delicate soul really should be locked away in a nut house forever and ever.

Oh dear. Seems like 'Pants On 24/7' still ain't gettin' some...

"It's Nice To Be Rice" - Devious calculating pop by number egomaniac ditches band formed with school chums to reinvent self as unwashed crusty troubador and plagues the charts with catterwalling nonsense. Farce type comedy as he flits between power mad dictator, to spacey moon child, depending wether a journalists is the room or not.

The Mitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy - Pale and sickly, bookish type is abducted by Aliens who want to show him the secrets of universe and true beauty of inner peace, but find themselves continuessly re-buffed and scorned with confusing school yard type references to their romantic lives. Comedy comes from fact that a) Whingy whinny wesal doesn't realise he's in the presence of a true higher intellect, b) he couldn't get a lay in barrel full of (dead) (crack) whores.

Zach Branf v. interested.

all of this shit is much better than the spew i saw on the national broadcaster last night. by quite a chalk too.

that was amazing, everything got the green light, everything! I couldn't get the ideas out fast enough, "two of the pigeons are in this, like, relationship that..." "GREEN LIGHT!" "...and so every week the pirate gets back on the tigers back, cause.." "GREEN LIGHT!" "...and the dead hooker marries the first guy, but he doesn't know!!! he doesn't!!!" "GREEN LIGHT!" dude, I must have been in the back of that van for like twenty mins, just bang, bang, bang... shooting comedy gold out of the sky, then they dropped at their members club and a women in a sack gave me this bejeweled monkey to hold and told me I had very lucky eyes and the next thing I know I'm falling and falling and *bang* I wake up on the floor of my flat... awesome dudes these UKGOLD fella's, they need 30 scripts by Friday lunch time... I better get to it... where's that bejewled moneky?

"iraqnophobia" - George bush is shocked to discover his new housemate is none other than saddam husseins ghost!

SH: quit labelling my beans as part of the axis of evil.
GB: you still hanging around?

1) "Only When I Raft" - 4 sullen and bored middle-aged male hospital patients discover true happiness can only be found in the construction and utilisation of makeshift water vehicles. This happens on a weekly basis.

In series 2 one of them has AIDS.

2) "To the Manor Bourne" tv-sitcom spin-off of the action movie franchise where Matt Damon's character discovers his true identity as the son of a wealthy British lord.

3)"The Odd Cripple" - speaks for itself.
