Anyone know where I can find good, unbiased, reporting on Iran?

Over last couple of years, prior to the current "war on trerrorism", Iran was being touted as coming out of the dark ages, with a new liberal president, more democracy, more rights for women, etc, etc.
Now that the war's on, they are again designated a rogue state, funding terrorism, blah blah blah, and no mention of our friend Khatami (the president).

How have they managed 2 such sudden turnabouts since 1997?

i'm a bady informed bigot but what i can tell you is we probably won't be playing them for the world cup. mores the shame. imagine the chants!

Did you hear about the riots in Iran (cos they failed to qualify for the world cup) this morning on the radio?
According to Morning Ireland's reporter the story going around Tehran (which obviously may or nay not be true) is the goalie threw the match on account of pressure from the clergy ... apparently the locals use football victory celebrations as a form of social protest - women take off their headscarves and the like - and the clergy wanted an end to it. Hence the riots

I reckon all the birds should play all the priests in a big footie match, and the winner gets to decide what happens. Or possibly represent Iran in the World Cup.

Football vs God. I know who I'm backing...

cos of the whole theological debate therein. god versus football. where do you begin? we could argue for hours over this, but it's passover soon, so we won't, suffice to say:
spurs versus football.
there.
