People of Thumped,

after the great lunch advice I got last week I thought I would seek yer help again today.

So I called in sick this morning and now I'm not sure what to do next, I don't want to totally waste the day. Heres the options I'm thinking about:

1. Going to the IMMA and then lying down in the grass a bit.

2. Going through a cookbook and planning what to eat next week and then doing some food shopping.

3. Going to the phoenix park, doing step one of this jogging programme I've been meaning to start for years.

4. spending my day on the internet and then regretting it...

Any other good ideas?

1. Remain in bed, lying on your side, staring at the wall

2. Transfer to couch, continue lying on your side, staring at the wall

3. Watch an entire dvd box set of some shite tv series you've seen
already, alternating between staring at the screen and staring at the wall.

if ya waste yr day yr only gonna feel guilty about it..

jsut steer clear of yr work or anywhere yr colleagues might be!!

Go to imma and drink cans or alternatively drink cans and go to imma.

I've just had breakfast (eggs from the pet chickens). Off to get some records cleaned then move a cooker then sit on a bus to Dublin for four hours in the sunshine. This is the life.

ok so far I've read a bit of the paper, stroked the cat and installed last.fm on my computer ... hmmm, better watch it or i'll get nothing done - which actually isn't the worst idea either.

You have pet chickens? we were talking about that here, how noisy are they?

what or where is IMMA?

Irish museum of modern art, royal hospital kilmainham.

They can be fairly noisy but bareable and defo worth it.

Hens are deadly we have 6 and a cock phesant. They walk around the yard clucking and the sort, pretty cool to have.

Just stay away from Guinea hens if you cant have nose levels. Those things drove our whole family mad with there shouting from sunrise till sun set. If i leaf feel a metre away from those things they'll shout like there being boiled alive, not the best if you have neighbours near you.
