Bang bangs and Bewley’s café theatre
Are proud to present an evening with
HUMMINGBIRD
Thursday March 9th
With special guest
Nile James Hullihan
Doors open 8pm 10 euro
Bewley’s theatre Grafton Street
Hummingbird is delighted to be playing in the magical auditorium of Bewley’s Café, Grafton Street on Thursday 9th March.
2006 sees Hummingbird continue to ride on the success of the launch of their debut album Red Letter Day. Having received rave reviews from Hot Press “impressive enough stuff”, Connected “essential listening” with eclectic comparisons being drawn to Pearl Jam, U2, and Crosby, Stills and Nash, the band are fired for their upcoming single launch and nationwide tour.
November saw the band have their first live nationwide broadcast on RTE2`s The Café to rapturous response with their track Second Guesses, prompting interest from Setanta Sports to add one of the songs off the album to their shows. With extensive airplay from several avenues in the UK, Holland, America, and Canada this a great chance to see a great live band in an intimate setting selling their wares of insatiable melodic songs. There energy is uncompromising, taking the listener through a rhythmic roller-coaster ride through melodic turbulence!
Support on this very special night comes from the amazing Nile James Hullihan
