i'm going to a wedding (on my own - no guest) of a work colleague and i am wondering how much is proper to give as a wedding gift?

i was thinking 50euro or 70 euro?

i'm not use to going to weddings, last wedding i was at i was 5 years old and the pageboy (!)

Work colleague, on your own?

€50 is fine. Cover your dinner and your toast drink.

Maybe get a toaster instead for a laugh but €50 is grand.

i went for the 50 euro (it's on thursday)

however i'll bear those other suggestions in mind for the future.

next wedding time i'll buy them a puppy :)

the oval bowl's a very good idea i must say
