hey guitar people: following on from neil's bass post, what think you? Natural wood finish, yea or nay? I'm a nay man myself. But who am I to talk, I've an all-over-blonde acoustic.

Definately prefer the natural finish. This is my baby, it's 2001 American Standard. I :heart: it.

I've also just acquired another bass, it's a purple Mex Fender Jazz with the rosewood fingerboard.

I'm all about the blonde. On my most wanted list is an old blonde Hagstrom Viking, a 70's blonde Strat (with black scratchplate, fretboard, pickups & knobs) or a really old blonde Tele like Bruce Springsteen.
