Fender Telecaster
Fender Bullet
Gibson 'The Paul'
Gibson Les Paul Jr.
Charvel Strat w/ crazy Seymore Duncan distorto-pickup
Antoria Accoustic
Aria Accoustic (in 2 pieces, plan on re-attaching the neck)
Jazz bass copy
The Wife has a Squire Bronco short scale bass which is pretty deadly.

wishlist:
Les Paul Custom (black or wine)
Jackson King V
Travis Bean 500
Fender Jaguar (an actual 60s jobby)
P-bass, a 70's one would be nice, like Hugh's. Very meaty sounding.
SG Les Paul Custom. the 3 pickup one, Grainne (cap pas cap) has the epiphone version. such a cool guitar.

i'll stop there...

just got a 50's p-bass clone. custom built by this old dude who plays in church bands. jazz bass neck, p bass body and a rio grande pick up. savage.

just picked up a '97 US strat thats almost identical to this:

never wanted a strat till recently. going to put a black scratchplate on it though.

What's that auld Fender Bullet like?

its great. odd bridge, the scratchplate is steel and back of the plate is bent up for form the back of the bridge. its a student guitar from the early 80s. mines from 81 i think. the bridge pickup is pretty crap. the neck pickup is class though. very bright and full. its identical to this:

1. vintage vsa850, gretsch/guild knock-off. a poor mans version of johnny stress's; bought for 280e second hand in music maker a few months ago. plays and sounds great to my ears/fingers. has a slightly unfortunate mother of pearl trim, and is missing the scratch plate.

2. mid 90s korean sunburst squier strat; my first electric, bought at the age of 16/17 with my first proper paycheck. I knew fuck all about guitars at the time, and was lucky in that I seem to have gotten a 'lucky' squier, in that wood, hardware and set-up was all fairly decent. replaced the stock pickups and gaurd with a black pickgaurd s/s/h set up about a year ago; improved the sound subtantially.

3. sx semi acoustic; the only people in the world that seem to stock these are waltons. This was one of their top of the line ones. sounds great, decent electrics in it too. had to borrow the money off my old man to buy it!

4. hornher acoustic. nice sounding cheapo guitar. had the worst action of any guitar ive ever played. I lent it to soeone a few years ago and have never reclaimed it. must do at some stage.

5. nameless mandolin, nice-ish sound, not a great insturment.

6. nameless bouzuki, was badly shop soiled and thusly a bargin. sounds like a bouzuki.

Though I'll probably be back down to one as I have to flog no.1 to make way for no.2.

Yeah, as far as I'm aware they've only been made in Japan. Talk of them being made in Mexico as of this year though.

Worked out as a little under €650 delivered from England, compared to 1100/1200 in Music Maker. It's fucking gorgeous looking. It's in the bed with me tonight and herself can have the couch.

not a very jazzy looking photo. you should put some At-At's or something in the background

Sorry I

That's the ebay photo- I promise you I'll do something special when it gets delivered

No At-Ats but there's Judge Dredd, Tweety Pie and Gossamer the Interesting Monster anyway

just a naturally occurring gap, for pedals and stuff

the porn and erotica shelves are on the other side of the room

Dunno what it is about acoustics but there's nothing about them that gets my pulse racing
