yes, well he's pretty good with the gizmoes (good guitarist too)

I'm more of a feeling player I guess, so between us it balances out.

I tend to use just two or three sounds. Any more than that, I find, the pedal or effect or whatever is doing the talking for you. Though I appreciate that some people can do amazing things with effects.

I'm the same. DD6 for delay and SD1 for overdrive.
I sing so anything more, I'd look like Michael Flatley.

I've played guitar a bit for 22 years too, but never was never really interested in getting any good at it. Been playing bass for 24 years (started on double bass) but like Hugh I don't believe technical ability is really relevant for rock bass playing - timing and feel are what's important IMHO, and you can only improve that by practising with a band. So I'm good at that, but would be lost if you asked me to play a bass solo

Been playing piano for TWENTY-NINE years! I've gone through stages of being really good at that, but I'm not in one at the minute

i started playing when i was 11. i'm now 29 and am no better a guitar player now then i was when i was 14 or 15 years old. in fact i'm probably worse. been playing bass almost 8 years.
