This list is wrong because anyone with ears knows that the best album to ever come out of ireland was "greatest shits" by Pink Turds in Space.

And also any list that has a best of(in this case the Thin Lizzy one) doesn't ever count for anything.
And anything by Them is better than anything by Van Morrison.

hotpress stoped being relevent years ago, if it ever was.
i don't know how its still in print.
the whole top 100 thing is kind of stupid cause no one is ever going to agree with someone elses top 100 albums / songs. i dont think we need hotpress to tell us what are good albums.

but how dare HotPress leave out Ireland best band Saso. big group hug and I can do nice are two of the finest albums ever

Didn't notice the Luke Kelly one,and didn't know the Microdisney one was a best of. fucking unbelievable. I never count live albums myself either but wasn't sure if other people did or not.
I wonder will the readers list be as woeful

Microdisney album isn't a Best of - just an 8 track compilation of two early singles plus four new tracks all recorded between 1982 and 1984

The Clock Comes Down The Stairs istheir best record - no sign of it in that poll
