Its a Pop Idol spin off called Eric Idol. Contestants have to watch Idle classics such as 'Spilitting Heirs' 'Suddenly Susan' and ' National Lampoon European Vacation' for no reason and then pay Eric 15 pound stirling.

In return, they get a box of fame and a personalised quater page fuzzy photo in Now magazine of themselves looking rough and out shopping with their spouse with sandles, sunglasses and a cap to keep a low profile.
