Heron Oblivion – “Oriar” (Stereogum Premiere)

seems this has been ongoing for a couple of months with their debut album out next week. I've only just heard about it.

And I was chatting to Meg Baird when she played here before xmas and asked her about what she was working on - never mentioned a thing about this. SAKE

Caught one of their shows back in december, amazing stuff, like a more atmospheric comets on fire, but still with some pretty big blow outs.

Saw their album launch show here in oakland on thursday night. Thumbs up.

They're adding lots of tour dates over the next while, so maybe heading to europe later in the year?

hope so. Meg Baird usually does stop by here (have seen her a few times), and have seen NVH with Comets before.

Had the album on repeat last friday. Its fantastic.
