Yes. Bawl were from Finglas, three brothers rather crap whereas Brawl from New Ross released the rather excellent Thalidomide mini album and did move to Cork for a few years.

I remember the launch for Thalidomide at Charlie's - afternoon gig
Brawl also released an LP called Gulag in 1994 and a cassette called Barney (after Greg's dog) prior to that

Being from New Ross myself I saw them and many other great bands play Galavans in the 1992-1995 period

The gig is this saturday and acording to D unt J in road, loads of people have been looking for tickets but the hub is always closed

I only found out the hotel was sellin' 'em when I rang the no on the Cinerama board. They do Credit Card bookings o'er the phone too but might not be worth risking the post - at this stage.

according to the friendly Scottish lass there's "loads" left
