these guys = legends. saw em in the roisin dubh in galway over the weekend. it was one of the best things i've ever seen. fucking hilarious too. 4 southern rednecks playing fast and furious acoustic guitar banjo mandolin bass and violin (no drums no amps just plug in and rawk)

it was acdc songs and other rock classics in a country/bluegrassy style.

highlight for me a song called 'i keep your poop in a jar''.
nice one gugai on getting them there.

they are sooo two years ago.
haha only joking, ive seen them 3 times now and theyre great but they always do the same show.
met them before as well. the two brothers are sons of the guy who wrote duelling banjos and the singer has a phd in psychology and something else. really nice guys too.
great fun.

God I loved that cartoon, all their friends were suspended mid air in a room in the space ship until Ulysses could return home.

I was suppose to be going to that, and then the free Saw Doctors gig in Eyres Square (people who know me, guess who dreamed up THAT itinerary) but instead I went drinking all day in Mutton Lane in Cork. Cork is better when you have a job and can drink all day I've realised.
