Tesco just has it listed as Friday as all other games come out on Friday.

It'll be the same as the Halo 3 situation, a few random copies will get sold at places that don't know any better, R* will hear about it, threaten legal action, copies go back into stock rooms.

AFAIK, you've either a chipped 360 capable of playing "backups", or a functioning Live account - not both.

Nah if you flash it now you could play online. MS tend to roll out updates twice a year that ban modified machines though. I'd imagine the Spring update thats around the corner will bring with it a wave of bannings.
