going to cork city...what should I do,where should I go? (2 Viewers)

Starting to think about the Liberty Bar now...RIP
Used to sell 2 litres of cider ,play yr mix tapes and let you make yr own sandwiches
(maybe it was because we were a bunch of thugs from Limerick though)
its sadly missed

Don't forget the oval for booze. Or d'Oval.
And go to the English Market for olives and cheese and bread and shit.
There's also a Mahon Point Shopping Centre, the most soulless place in Cork.

+1 for the English Market. lovely sushi.

I live straight across from the Wilton shopping centre and there's a bus that goes from just round the corner to the Mahon Point shopping centre. it's like a beautiful dream.

Touristy things in Cork: the Gaol is actually a great tour and it is worth strolling out to the UCC campus to get a look at the new art museum there. It is pretty impressive.

Then I would swing up to Lennox's on the way back into town. Simply the best chipper you will ever eat in.

Most of the bars I can think of have been mentioned. Sin E is a great bar as well.
Great thing about Cork is all these places are very close to each other so you can see alot in one night.

Oh, and for lunch I third the English Market, great vibe and if you sit upstairs you can watch the world go by and get free refills on your coffee, it doesnt get much sweeter than that!
