camping in groningen is cool. it's not as far as it sounds, kind of walking from phibsboro into town kind of thing. palace east posse did it one year when our normal groningen abode ( viese mensen house or however you spell it) was evicted and we had no new addresses for people.

we are talking about september back to school indian summer shit here, camping is cool (unless your twenty years younger than me and the party don't stop!)

i am defo camping.

don't mind these dutch people and their "long walk".

Flat country and they still need 3 gears on their bikes! only time i have seen them having problems with long walks is when it is to the bar and it is their round!

well if you're used to walking, i guess it's not that bad. also it's a pretty nice route crossing the park, the famous Niemeyer factory (here they make the cancerous DRUM tabacco), the Museum ("Guggenheim of the north") etc etc

Actually Groningen is a rather small college town (170 000 inhabitants) so once in the centre, everything is pretty close range.

ya needs to get urself a good air mattress then and that should sort ya out, sadly i wont make it to the GGI as my flight back to europa aint til 19th of september.

on that note i totally recommend gulf air, fuckin deadly prices from kuala lumpur in malaysia back to london its less than 400 yo's, good shit, stopovr in Oman of all places though

am booked into the www.happyhollander.nl . hope it's decent.Lady muck won't stay at a campsite as she's treating GGI as a post-thesis hollier... I doubt if a lot of pple on this board will need to make any sleeping arrangements..... knowing the potency of the local pharmaceuticals!
