Giveamanakick and Rest will be releasing a split cd-r this Christmas. On this Cd-r will be four songs. Giveamanakick will be murdering Shakin Stevens "Merry Christmas Everyone", and Rest will be tackling "The Snowman (Walking in the Air)". Both bands will also be including a previously unreleased original song.

The Launch dates are:
Wed Dec 17th- Cruscin Lan, Cork
Sat Dec 20th- Quins, Limerick

Big Parties, 2 bands playing, CDs, DJs, Fun, pressies and Santas at the Launch. You better get to at least one of these or else you don't like music!!!!

The cd is limited to 250 copies which will be on sale at the gigs as well as Blackspot Records in Limerick and Plugd in Cork. Im not too sure if there will be enough left to sell elsewhere.
We had discussed a nativity scene, so if anyone knows a good carpenter let us know. We could do with a Joseph.

The growing back of the beard is doing fine. normal service will be resumed in approximately 2 weeks

The only reason GAMAK come to Cork is to eat dinner at my house. Once they get those vitamins theres no stopping them.

And as for a Joseph why don't you ask baccy joe for the role. hes eminently qualified (well his name is joe) and could probably do a roaring trade in drum tobacco throughout the evening

S its agreed then. Everyone will be in attendence if only to witness the Driver of Doom be reborn as man's saviour and spiritual leader. The tracks have been recorded by the way and have thus far been described as 'interesting', 'difficult' and 'popular'. Finally, I think the cd(r) will now only be available at the gigs. So now you know.

good gig. nice presents and cards an' all, but no santy or jesus to start the dancin. the rest version of We're Walking in the Air is cool too, it just doesn't have the drunken festive edge of gamak.
