What RSJ said - and you are in luck as today at around 3:30 they update the accommodation list.the physical newspaper itself comes out out a day later and alot of good houses are gone by then.

PM if you want to know about a particular area in Galway.Haven't been living here long but i know some of the areas well.

Also if you are just looking for a room there are notice boards in a lot of the internet cafes now. It's getting harder to find a decent place to live in Galway
