Gacy’s Threads are a 4 piece hardcore metal band established in late 2007.
Each member is a seasoned musician, drawn together by the urge to create an energetic, confronting and non compromising style of music.
Taking their main influences from artists such as Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I die and Norma Jean but planning on infusing it with each of their musical roots and influences to create something unique.
To date, the band have been constantly touring Ireland and had a short tour of Hungary.
Supported acts such as Fear Factory, Cancer Bats, August Burns Red, Horse the Band, IWRESTLEDABEARONCE, Carcer City Fucked Up, and The Luchagors.
And now are releasing their 2nd EP 'Wolf Brigade' on 30th Oct, with a launch date in the Pavilion Bar Belfast on the same date.
Wolf Brigade was originally recorded as a live podcast for http://www.imprintthisonyourmind.co.uk/ at 'My First Recorder' studios Belfast, and it was an opportunity to record tracks we never thought we would get the chance to lay down this year, so we took the chance to use the live recordings and master them at Studio 6 Swindon (Annotations Of An Autopsy, Bring Me The Horizon, Ingested), for the final result.
