It's definitely happening. It's in Gronigen this year. Dates aren't confirmed but they're looking at maybe as late as September, but it is defintely meant to be on alright.

The fifth annual GGI Fest will take place in Groningen on September 5th and 6th with a Sunday follow on through session on the 7th

The Friday gig will be in the VERA, the venue for saturday is still to be arranged.

A new travel option is to fly to bremen with ryanair and then take a bus direct form the airport to groningen for 27 euro return. Other options include ryanair to Eindhoven and the train or one of many airlines to Amsterdam etc.

next week we should have a meeting to talk about which bands we want to let play at the festival.

the festival will be
on the friday 5 september at the VERA oosterstraat 44
(4 bands)
on the saturday 6 sept at the VIADUCT wicherestraat 2
(6 -8 bands)
on the sunday 7 sept after party at estherbar the CROWBAR


i think the cheapest way to fly is via ryan air via bremen and then to take a coach to groningen .it cost 27 euro return bremen-groningen
