Or even just mildly amusing songs. Ones that aren't pure cringe/cheese/smut seem awfully rare. Peter Sellers and Sophia Lauren, Flight of the Conchords, couple of Bo Burnham and Penelope Scott ones. Any other suggestions?

Funny music or comedy music? There's stuff that's laugh out loud funny without being comedy, but is definitely more "funny" than a wry, knowing line in a song.

First song I ever laughed listening to, when I was quite young.

Or anything else by this guy. I think he's being quite earnest, rather than a joke act.

Also a lot of The Streets is quite funny.

Just met some people who've been to see Baxter Dury. They said it was quite funny. I agree.

Ooh I never heard that. Its good!
It was almost a month ago. Forgot I posted it.

I remember it came on the radio once at work. Six of us there, two of us knew the song. The other four liked classic rock or grime or Magic FM or just whatever. I tell you, all six of them loved it, and they couldn't figure out why. "I'm the urban goose" made everyone laugh, but they were entranced, and they didn't know why. One of my very few successes in playing music to The Geezers at that work.
