fuji finepix s7000 help (1 Viewer)

Hey there,

bought the above second hand, and it was missing the
the disc with the software for sorting, storing, up-loading pics.
Asked a guy in a camera shop what to do and he said once I load
the card from the camera into card reader and have this in turn
plugged into the pc, I should be able to access my photos.

this is not working.
Anyone per chance have a version of the software
that I could borrow/purchase. Or Technophobe friendly suggestions
as to how to transport photos from cam to pc.

help much appreciated!

i have the software somewhere (my s7000 died after a can of guinness in my bag burst. i upgraded to the next model and bought a camera bag).

anyway to access the pics - can you connect a usb cable from the camera into the computer? if you can you should just be able to click on My Computer and the camera should show up there as your E: drive or something like that. then just click into the camera and copy and paste / cut the photos into your photos folder.

Ah I connected the usb originally coming from the cardreader to the cam and
now have my photos.. card reader must be banjaxed!
could have saved that 40 squid by just getting a cable... d'oh the expensive lessons of those who refuse to read manuals or embrace knowledge of a technical kind.

you can download the drivers from fujifilm.ie, under the support section.

er, and if you don't come across them one way or another, give me a shout. i don't have the software but could get my hands on it very easily...

well the s7000 discs ahoulod be here somewhere and if not then the s9500 discs are the same(ish) i think so you can have them if you want.
