Lo-fi punk sensations Times New Viking return to Dublin with album number four Born Again Revisited and with very special guests LOVVERS.
"Every chord, every note, every yelped vocal, every grizzled and treble-tearing tone is one of sheer exuberance-- they may act aloof, but TNV get off on the privilege of just making a sound." - Pitchfork
“Like obvious antecedents Pavement, they are probably destined to sell out to beauty and grace. But for now, they're kinda perfect.” – Spin
“A near-perfect intersection of high and low art.” – The Village Voice
“Times New Viking walk the line between pop and noise, indie-rock and punk-rock, effortlessly…you’ll be convinced that indie-rock can save lives.” – Drowned In Sound
“Short, spikey tunes brimful of distortion and charm. They’re from Columbus, Ohio but don’t hold that against them. They have a lot of Spaceman 3 in their record collections, I reckon.” – Jim Carroll, The Irish Times
“…one of the most exciting indie-rock bands in years; the group’s live sets are so electrifying that, while in the moment, you feel like there’s no better band on the planet.” – Time Out New York
Times New Viking are made up of Columbus, Ohio trio Adam Elliot, Beth Murphy and Jared Phillips. Their first album Dig Yourself emerged as the first release in years from the pioneering imprint Siltbreeze (former home to crucial early works by Guided By Voices, the Dead C., Sebadoh, Strapping Fieldhands, Harry Pussy and other giants). Those skeptical to the hows and whys of a seminal American indie coming out of hibernation had their cynicism shattered with one listen to Dig Yourself - an instant classic that recalls multiple generations of that nebulous thing known as “lo-fi” while still being packed with a sensibility undeniably TNV's own.
Through their national travels, both as a headliner, and in league with such characters as The Country Teasers, Mission Of Burma, Endless Boogie and Psychedelic Horseshit, Times New Viking have achieved near mythic status in the US indie underground.

LOVVERS
Two years in and Lovvers have trawled the UK time and time again, playing nearly 200 shows and sharing multiple gigs with bands like Butthole Surfers, No Age, Times New Viking, Jay Reatard, Awesome Color, Mika Miko, Fucked Up, Black Lips, and Brutal Knights.
Lovvers are a strange mix of music’s forgotten/blank generation, re-calling the spirit of Darby Crashes’ Germs, the weirdness of Flipper, Wipers style pop and the careless attitude of The Replacements. After the release of four noisy and highly questionable 7inchs (three on the Jonson Family record label and one a 4 way band split release on OIB records) the band are now pursuing a career at Wichita Recordings. Lovvers debut release with Wichita comes in the form of a 7 song CD/LP entitled THINK.
