Terrible drivers in and around Miami. You'll see loads of accidents if you're there. Everyone drives about 2 feet behind everyone else.
Last time I was leaving there I saw three major accidents on the way into the airport (~20 miles). At 5am.
Something to keep in mind if you have appointments / planes to catch.

Halloween weekend. All the theme park things put on special haloween setups. Not been to one, but mates who went last year said they're amazing, full spreads of freakshows including randomers paid to go around and fully freak people out by pulling at their hair or whispering in their ears or anything at all. Sweet.
