Flagle - I solved the Daily flag (3 Viewers)

Can't believe I didn't get this. I'll explain why
After three guesses the flag was clearly identifiable. But for some reason I thought the Ghana flag had a vertical tricolour design i.e. like Senegal with a black star instead of a green one.
So I kept guessing Guinea, Guinea Bissau etc.
Anyway Ghana has horizontal colours and I am an eejit.

Same. i had the whole flag filled in but didn't know what it was.

I was interested in flags as a kid and there weren't many books in our house so as a teen I read the encyclopedia a lot. There are only 200-220(?) or so flags to remember. I find general knowledge, geography or history stuff fairly easy to remember.
Remember learning formulas for maths or chemistry at school? I couldn't do it - in one case I wrote a chemistry formula down 30 times and still couldn't memorise it.
I still find it bizarre that someone who is excellent at maths could have been worse than me at history. I either pick things up nearly immediately or I will never be able to do it.

yeah, no not a notion

I thought it might be the Flanders flag but no.

also, I noticed the Wales flag doesn't appear in the list of options
Today's one is a fairly unique flag. I always liked this one. Only easy if you know the flag.
Also I am hopeless at word puzzles, crosswords, anagrams + sodoku.
