[h=5]First of The Summer Wine Fest, a two day diy festival in new ross with bands, camping, bonfires etc, will be taking place on the weekend of 17-19 May 2013.

It will prob be the sat and sunday but will sort that later, your assistance by not organising other events that will clash with it that weekend is appreciated. gonna book bands who havent played new ross before or who havent done in years and a couple of overseas bands.

anyways...gig organisers - keep that weekend free please!

So this is on Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th

Have started to get bands confirming so will post up over next while as it comes togethar.

probably gonna use 3 venues wah, parrot world, the cdp and the station, all byob - just have to figure out the logistics of it and timing etc, defo want to have a couple of bands at the station, its just a lot more built up round here than years ago....., anyway we have the luxury of choice so will sort it out nearer time. camping and bonfires etc at the usual spot.

this was a complete success, great music - the variety of styles of punk was deadly, great banter, loads of fun, thanks to all the bands, everyone who came along and particularly everyone who did the work which made it happen
