i’m trying to slowly switch around how my email is set up and i need advice on who’s good for this.

at the moment i have most email hosted with blacknight, which is grand, but they have a limit of 1gb per mailbox.

my main email address of the last few years comes in around 6gb of archived mail which is now in a pop mailbox on my laptop. gonna hopefully switch to server-based imap and also probably switch hosts, at least for this address/domain.

so... where should i host it? why? how much?

ah yes... i meant to add about that. i want to avoid gmail if at all possible. thanks though.

Have you considered setting up a spare machine in your house / business as a server? May not be practical, but just a thought.
