Playing Belfast in a few weeks.
No Dublin date?
Story with that?

This is a shit. It seems they're going home after the Aunt Annie's gig too. Surely some promoter could entice them down south.

details of the belfast gig? might be worth a trip

I'd be up for it.

Weirdly just sent them a myspace message (definitely run by the band), saying I'd put them on in Dublin, if they'd just send me their demands. But if they've already decided they're not playing... I'm trying to get a few people over in May actually. Trying to contact Lichens/ Robert Lowe has been a pain in the arse. Also trying to track down Polvo, but they don't have a label anymore.

not even through Merge? Long shot but you could try getting in touch through Mary Timony either.

Strangely, Polvo actually do respond to messages at their myspace

Hey, hey just contacted Polvo there. At least I hope I did.

Still no word from Enon. Where is the love? Listened to High Society this evening. Perfection. "I bought a window display, and married her at once!!!" Exclamation marks provided by Schmersal's saucy guitar machine.

This Enon gig was really enjoyable.
Very straightforward though... just guitar, bass + drums.
Not a synth or sampler in sight!

It was pretty much just a showcase for their new album.
Only 1 or 2 older songs.
