I was in oxfam recently and some guy was trying to get rid of his vhs's and they wouldn't accept any, they were good ones as well, star wars boxset and monty python and so on

You get very little for most VHS tapes unless the item hasn't got a DVD release yet and / or the DVD release is cut.

the reason the price is so high for The Beast In Heat is

- Pre-cert copy. Was banned under the Video Recordings Act of 1984. One of the infamous '39' nasties. Quite scarce and it has the full artwork.

These sell for quite big money despite the availability of most of them on DVD. Although region 1 is your best bet as region 2 versions may be cut.

This book I got recently is pretty deadly to look at.
