Watching Nick Broomfeld's Heidi Fleiss documentary last night and the sound was all screwed up. It says it's in 2.0 dolby, but the main audio track was very very low, while the background music was very high. When both were on at the same time, the main track (with narration and such) was about 95% inaudable. Tried correcting it with the remote but there was no other sound track. The DVD player was connected via scart to the telly. Any ideas how to fix this, or is it just a dodgy sound mix?

this used to happen to me, I tried the remote thing, didn't work, eventually I checked around the back of the amplifier to find the wires for the central speaker half hanging out. So I re-attached them and everything was .|..|

Yeah, sounds like either a loose wire, or you have some speakers wired up out of phase.. make sure the red/black wires (or whatever) are in the same place on all your speakers.
