Hello there,

23 year old drummer in dublin here. Basically I'm looking for;

a: a band to play with

or

b: to get a band together

Dont know many dubliners so here i am on the forum.

What I love to play is similar to the style of reagan youth, crass, bad brains, agent orange(living in darkness.. not the other shit). I dont know what you wanna call it.... "peace punk"/politically minded maybe if theres such a thing?

Im into more lax stuff aswell like gene krupa......sleazy loungey stuff.

.......but

Im eager to get playing so all styles of music I will consider.

I can sight read by the by so its no hassle learning new stuff.

Hey. We're a dublin based band in our 20s and are looking for a drummer. Our last drummer left due to a 66 hour work week and a rotating nightshift and was far to nackered to manage playing with a band too. ouch.

Interested in joining a Hardcore/Post-hardcore outfit??

Influences range across Rise Against, Thrice, At the Drive-In, Hatebreed, With Honor, The Mars Volta and something funky, loud, fast and rocking!

I've already got a bassist and i'm looking for a 2nd guitarist and a drummer for the band. Plans are to get the band ready for gigs towards the end of summer.

Oh and I'm the rhythm guitarist/vocalist for the band...
I'm sorta chasing the slightly politically motivated sound for the band you mentioned too.
