Newgrange is classic. Pity that you are herded around the place on the official visit. Worth doing it though but follow it up with a regular drive to the monument and hang around outside looking at the view. Just follow the signs to Newgrange Open Farm. You won't be allowed on the grounds though.
Also Loughcrew is great.
