Great stuff altogether the other night. Never saw them before. Zither Player probably the highlight, or else Sue's Last Ride. Warren Ellis is quite the character. Also enjoyed the guitar stylings of the young Harry Redknapp.

i'm also convinced that was ron jeremy pounding away...on the drums that is.

Both nights were unbelievably good. I think Dirty Three might be the perfect band, they've got it all. Josh T Pearson was brilliant too.

Was there a merch stand at either gig? Couldn't see one but Pearson alluded to it in Cork.

Highlight for me was Everythings Fucked both nights, but it was all so great.

I loved how deafeningly loud that one was when they played it at the Village a couple of years ago (with Josh Pearson on bass I think maybe?) or whenever it was. I wish I could've seen them this time, it sounds amazing.
