Recently picked up Flesh Eater - Revenge of the Living Dead
and Dawn of the Living Dead
I'm not expecting much, flesh eater is the same fucker who ruined Night of TLD with that awful anniversary version.

Domain now, so I think anyone can take the name,
idea, original footage, etc and do what they want
with it..like add extra scenes (been done!). bizarre.

there was also a remake of night of the living dead...in colour, and a "remaster" of NOTLD featuring new scenes and a scortumulous 'soundtrack' that was fucking sacrilege. i couldn't watch. i stormed out of the room. it's cos NOTLD is in the public domain, apparently. so the co-writers went and sexed it up with some shit on a stick. fucking dire.

the remake was alright, first time i saw it was on a black and white tv. very confusing. my prob is that barbera was an eegit. but in the remake she was fricking wonderwoman. screw that. although the good ole boys rounding up zombies at the end was good.

haven't seen it in ages, must dig it out...
