How i've loved them for so long. are they broken up or wha?
Battle Champions is oh so nice.
That's all.

I really liked the 1st two albums and a couple of 7"s i had, but i got slightly bored around Millions of Brazilians.

Saw them with Paul Newman in Chicago in 2001 and both bands were great.
Archer Prewitt played too but he was hideous.
Couldn't believe it was the same guy from Sea & Cake.

i acquired it there a few weeks ago...
it's a bit weird, almost all the songs have vocals on them, not sure how i feel about it yet. must give it more time. definitely not the next Battle Campions.

they're touring soon, think they have a few dates in italy.
1997 album 'As Seen From Above' is beautiful

Nah, they very much follow that mathsy, winsome, hopeful type of post rock. To death.
Their best song is Dreams of Being King from this

closing song on more or less a John McEntire scored late 90s John Hughes film. Decent flick, quality soundtrack. It has a typically cool sea & cake track Window Lights on it too.
