As seen as there are a few designers about we should have a sticky thread for design crits where people can post recent word for some peer review/comment.

OK. this is a quick comp from yesterday afternoon for a folded-flyer/booklet and poster for a new yoga company. It's nowhere near finished. It is very simple as there is only a small budget So the general idea is to have a clean outer cover with a 'dynamic' graphic (apparently it is a dynamic form of yoga) but have it open out to a vibrant interior. I just drew a lotus shape and dymanicised it up.

I wanted a two colour job but the logo above the (incomplete) map is the logo of Satyananda Yoga. Ill ask the client if we can modify the colours etc.

BA thats really nice, I wasnt too sure until i saw the inside, but I think it really works well.

I have a feeling that this thread would just turn into an excersise in back patting, more than actual good healthy criticism.

thats a fair point though. I don't know how they are sending it out. Post/hand/or leaving them lying around various locations etc. I wanted the cover to be a draw without being in-yer-face. Anyway it was a quick job and they haven't got back to me yet re. changes etc

my only gripe was if you view the threads 'latest at top' the reply button is down at the bottom of the page. Although I got over that by always replying w/quote on the top post and deleting the quote.

Well it's basicly just my drawings printed on vinyl stickers 10cm x 10cm and then stuck onto another piece of black vinyl, which is the sleeve itself. Looks very much like my drawings, some of them are just cropped so they suit 10 by 10cm.
