The 1990s had acres and acres of diamonds. From hip-hop to Britpop, American college radio monsters to deliciously throwaway pop numbers.

This though, zenith of the decade.

I could post about 100 videos but I won't.

... two things from the early 90s lodged firmly in my brain... For the first half of the decade, four on the floor dance music in all its derivatives was predominant and inescapable... ugly times...

I never really liked this version. Mostly because I only had the album and this remix didn't make it to where I was living.

Scutter your post just made me remember this band. On college radio non-stop.

you're welcome.

by the way, meant to ask, what actually is 'College Radio'?

it is actually a radio station run in/by a college? Or is it just a radio station aimed at college kids? I've heard the term lots, as if its an influential kind of thing when it comes to music tastes, etc.

also, that song is awful

Radio stations on college campuses. generally with a view to training people in radio production and all that lark.
Very eclectic mix of music and shows.
There's a fucking cracking traditional Irish music show on the MIT station. Or there was.

but people actually listen to it?

I can't imagine listening to one if there was one where I went to college (actually there was one for a week and I did listen, purely because it was a novelty - it was terrible though).

People swear by them. They are very professional. You know what Americans are like.
This morning show is very popular with people of a certain inclination
