Almost twenty years ago..it was the nineties.

Most of it complete shite.

What other examples of terrible crimes against music have you from that crazy decade?

Bring the pain.

I remember HATING the 80's around 92 till about 2002.

Now I fucking love the 80's.

Every single song which came out after Nevermind which was aimed squarely at using the "quiet bit, loud bit" formula to gouge coins from pre-emo teenage spas. Utter shite.

I love the 90s though.

Deserter's Songs and The Soft Bulletin were released (just about, I think) in the 90s therefore it was awesome. MBV, Mansun and a multitude of indie Irish releases too. Cheap gig tickets (how come I could afford to go to gigs in the Olympia and the Point when I was fucking 16 but not now???). It's all shite since the internet came alone, to paraphrase the dodgy dude in the Committments.

While we're at it, Scatman's take on Invisible Man is NOWHERE near as bad as it should be

IT WAS AWESOME.I was fucking stoned off me head, went for pizza after. What a great day.A solo date.

All That She Wants (is another baby) - that was a great one. And that 4 Non Blondes one.
I never liked that tune.It was catchy as all fuck. But that sentiment...eeugghhhh

Some great pop music in the 1990s. Here's one of my favourites.

By someone whose band were massive at the start of the decade.

Good un.

I always liked the vocal melody and the "right" and the "no" landing with the snare in the chorus. Apparently that's Pharrell Williams doing the rap bit.

That SWV tune is MEGA AWESOME

Jazes remember when the squares were all rocking the linen look.Simpler times.

That video in no way exploits female sexuality. You don't see that much in pop anymore
